Overview:

This amplified series provides power for longer range applications. With its RX-105dBm sensitivity, the application of these products should only be in low noise/interference environments.  

Important note: The distance ranges referenced below for the various radios/ &radio/antenna systems, are conservatively stated. Actual performance results may exceed (or occasionally be less) depending on a variety of factors including  but not restricted to: (a) line of sight issues; (b) Fresnel zone issues;  (c) towers heights  (d) noise floors; and: (e) spectrum issues such as interference.

TR-6500 - This internally amplified unit can be matched with a wide variety of 2.4 GHz antenna options as found under the "Antennas, 2.4 GHz" section on this web site. Actual throughput of up to 5 Mbps can be achieved.

The extra power of this unit has allowed for successful applications under near-line-of-sight, short range conditions. In good line-of-sight environments, Point-to-Point connectivity can reach up to 12 miles (using Tranzeo's TR-GD24-24 antenna).

Matched with high-gain antennas and Tranzeo's high performance client units, such as at the TR-CPQ-19, connectivity can reach up to 15 miles.

TR-650 - This is the 2.4GHz amplified indoor version of the TR-6500 above. Direct connectivity to 2.4 GHz antennas can be made utilizing Tranzeo s custom made pigtail - LMR-RPTNC, LMR400 Pigtail N-Female to RPTNC Male.

Housing is slightly taller than the unamplified TR-600 or TR-660 indoor series.
