Overview:

The Tranzeo TR-5Plus Series is one of the newest additions to the Tranzeo Product line. The TR-5Plus Series of radios are based on the TR-5A series but boasts a non-amplified radio that has an output power of 23 dBm. Since there is no amplifier there is a lower cost and better performance in High Noise environments.

Important note: The distance ranges referenced below for the various radios/ &radio/antenna systems, are conservatively stated. Actual performance results may exceed (or occasionally be less) depending on a variety of factors including  but not restricted to: (a) line of sight issues; (b) Fresnel zone issues;  (c) towers heights  (d) noise floors; and: (e) spectrum issues such as interference.

  TR-5Plus Series

  Model Numbers

TR-5plus-N - Higher RF output of this radio compared to the TR-5a series makes this unit suitable for longer range connectivity when combined with the antennas as described in the below products. See "Key Features" and adjacent "Data Sheet" above for complete details and specifications.

TR-5plus-24 - This unit, with its high gain integrated antenna, is suitable for applications of up to 15 miles. It is configurable in 3 modes as per "Key Features" above. Actual throughputs of up to 20 Mbps can be generated. See adjacent "Data Sheet" tab for complete specifications.

TR-5plus-26 - This complete system is suitable for applications up to 15 miles. It is configurable in 3 modes as per "Key Features" above but it is set up in point-to-point with this antenna. With its narrower beam width grid antenna compared to the TR-5Plus-24 above, it may resolve some Fresnel issues where this may be a factor. Actual throughput of up to 20 Mbps can be achieved. See adjacent "Data Sheet" for complete specifications. System comes complete with TR-5Plus-N radio, parabolic grid antenna and a 3 foot section of LMR400 N-Male to N-Male connecting cable.

TR-5plus-29 - This complete system is suitable for applications of up to 25 miles. It is configurable in 3 modes as per the "Key Features" above but is usually set up in point-to-point with the included antenna. Actual throughput of up to 20 Mbps can be achieved. See adjacent "Data Sheet" for complete specifications. The TR-5Plus-29 comes complete with a TR-5Plus-N radio, 2 foot parabolic dish antenna, radome cover and a 3 foot section of LMR400 N-Male to N-Male connecting cable.

TR-5plus-32 - This complete system is suitable for applications of up to 38 miles. It is configurable in 3 modes as per "Key Features" above but is usually set up in point-to-point with this antenna. Actual throughputs of up to 20 Mbps can be achieved. See adjacent "Data Sheet" tab for complete specifcations. System comes complete with TR-5Plus-N radio, 3 foot parabolic dish antenna, radome cover and 3 foot section LMR400 N-Male to N-Male connecting cable.

TR-5plus-V15 -In this complete system the radio should be configured in AP mode. Good line-of-sight is imperative when "lighting up" client units. On the client side, this AP should be matched with Tranzeo's TR-SL5-16f, TR-5a-20f or TR-5Plus-24f units. With higher gain client units, distances of up to 8 miles can be achieved. System comes complete with TR-5Plus-N radio, sector antenna and 3 foot section LMR400 N-Male to N-Male connecting cable.

TR-5plus-V17 - In this complete system the radio should be configured in AP mode. The higher gain and narrower beam width antenna compared to the TR-5Plus-V15 above provides higher throughput and increased distance connectivity. Good line-of-sight is imperative when "lighting up" client units. On the client side, this AP should be matched with Tranzeo's TR-SL5-16f, TR-5a-20f or TR-5Plus-24f units. With higher gain client units, distances of up to 10 miles can be achieved. System comes complete with TR-5Plus-N radio, sector antenna and 3 foot section LMR400 N-Male to N-Male connecting cable.

TR-5plus-H16 - This complete system provides an alternative polarity antenna where interference or noise may be an issue. Good line-of-sight is imperative when "lighting up" client units. On the client side, this AP should be matched with Tranzeo's TR-SL5-16f, TR-5a-20f or TR-5Plus-24f units. With higher gain client units, distances of up to 8 - 10 miles can be achieved. System comes complete with TR-5Plus-N radio, sector antenna and 3 foot section LMR400 N-Male to N-Male connecting cable.
