Overview:

The TR-5amp series of radios feature an internal amplifier boosting the 13 dBm radio to a powerful 22 dBm. The high RX sensitivity makes the units suitable for low noise and interference environments.

Important note: The distance ranges referenced below for the various radios/ &radio/antenna systems, are conservatively stated. Actual performance results may exceed (or occasionally be less) depending on a variety of factors including  but not restricted to: (a) line of sight issues; (b) Fresnel zone issues;  (c) towers heights  (d) noise floors; and: (e) spectrum issues such as interference.

TR-5amp-N - For use with various antenna configurations as per below.

TR-5amp-26 - This unit is suitable for up to 15 miles. Unimpaired line-of-sight required with actual throughput of up to 20 Mbps. Slightly narrower beam-width compared to the TR-5amp-24 above may help resolve Fresnel issues where they are a factor. Complete system consists of a TR-5amp-N radio, wire grid antenna and a 3 foot LMR 400 connecting cable.
