Overview:

Tranzeo Wireless Technologies has received FCC approval on the TR-49 Series of product which is designed specifically for Homeland Security use in the 4.9 GHz frequency band. This spectrum has been allocated by the Federal Communications Commission for the exclusive use of Municipal, State and Federal Agencies. Tranzeo Wireless Technologies products in this spectrum allow for the rapid deploymnet of Wireless Networks facilitating such varied uses as Video Conferencing; rapid internet and database access to vital data such as maps, building layouts, medical files and missing person images; Voice over IP (VoIP) communication; and audio/video surveillance.

These product lines represent a monumental shift in Tranzeo's product offerings, as all previous products operated on unlicensed frequencies.

  Model Numbers
  TR-49-N - This unit must be matched with antennas capable of transmitting in the 4.9 GHz frequency. See the complete systems below. Also refer to our "Antennas, 4.9 GHz, 4.9, GHz Sectors" section of our web site for antenna types available.
   
  TR-49-20 - If this unit is used in the Point-to-Point format, operators must obtain a "Temporary Use License". In Access Point mode, actual throughput of up to 20 Mbps can be achieved over a distance of up to 5 miles. Good line-of-sight conditions are required.
   
  TR-49-V16 - This complete system is suitable for Access Point to Client applications for up to 5 miles where good line-of-sight conditions prevail. The system consists of a TR-49-N radio, a 16 dBi 90 degree vertical sector antenna, and a 3 foot LMR400 connecting cable.
   
  TR-49-H16 -This complete system is suitable for Access Point to Client applications of up to 5 miles where good line-of-sight conditions prevail. The horizontal antenna may assist in high-noise environments. The system consists of a TR-49-N radio, a 16 dBi 90 degree horizontal sector antenna, and a 3 foot LMR400 connecting cable. The actual antenna supplied is the wide band TR-58H-90-16 unit which is also suitable for the 4.9GHz spectrum.
