The 23 GHz Discriminator Antenna
Provides Category A Performance in a Low-Profile Package
The 23 GHz Discriminator is a one-foot diameter antenna that has first side lobes 23 dB down from the main beam. This exceptional performance greatly reduces interference from other microwave transmitters when co-location is required. The newest member of the Discriminator series operates in the 23 GHz band and meets stringent FCC category A requirements. Typically operators in the United States need to utilize a 2’ antenna to meet category A in the 23 GHz band. The new Discriminator allows operators to utilize a 1’ antenna, which reduces costs and improves aesthetics.
The Discriminator offers large cost efficiencies without compromising on performance. It is lightweight, comes complete with an adjustable antenna mount and the easy-to-install design uses a shaped reflector to optimize patterns and assure enhanced system performance.

Radio Waves manufactures the broadest line of antennas for point-to-point, (PtP) and point-to-multipoint, (PtMP), ISM and UNII band applications. They offer standard parabolic (SP series) and flat panel (FP series) antennas for conventional microwave links. Radio Waves offers the FP series and the capability to integrate the subscriber antenna in order to reduce cost and improve system performance. In particular, the new Xcelarator (tm) series offers the best performance and quality of any 5 GHz flat panel series available. In addition to the subscribers, they manufacture sector (SEC series) antennas with varying azimuth and elevation beamwidths. Also available, are dual-polarity and dual-band models.

ProLine - Point to Point (PtP) |
Radio Waves designs and manufactures the ProLine antenna series for terrestrial microwave point-to-point applications, including interconnection of PCS, GSM, and cellular base stations. The ProLine series consists of single or dual polarized standard parabolic (SP Series) and high-performance (HP Series) antennas. With versions for standard frequency bands from 2 to 40 GHz, the ProLine products include 1 ft (30 cm), 1.5 ft (45 cm), 2 ft (60 cm), 3 ft (90 cm), 4 ft (120 cm), and 6 ft (180 cm) diameter antennas.

Radio Waves designs and manufactures an extensive line of quality PMP antennas ranging from 1.5 to 40 GHz. PMP solutions include base station sector and hub antennas with varying azimuth beamwidths and low-profile customer premises or subscriber antennas. Radio Waves innovation offers our customers high-quality, high-efficiency and service with direct integration of customers’ outdoor units (ODUs) to our PMP antennas for greater efficiencies and customized packaging. Radio Waves PMP Base Station and Subscriber antennas are certified by Cetecom ICT Services GmbH to European Telecommunications Standard Institute (ETSI) EN 301 215–2 at 26, 28 & 38 GHz. In addition to ETSI, the Subscriber antennas also meet FCC Category “A” and “B” regulations where applicable. |
MMDS 2.5 & 3.5 GHz |
Radio Waves manufactures a broad line of sector hub and subscriber antennas for the MMDS (2.4-2.7) and 3.5 GHz (3.4-3.6) bands. The sector (SEC series) antennas offer varying azimuth and elevation beamwidths, plus feature dual polarity. The 3.5 GHz sectors meet and exceed the ETSI class “CS2” specifications. For the subscriber end, Radio Waves offers two antenna models: standard parabolic, (SP series) and flat panels, (FP series). The SP series is a low cost parabolic antenna with diameters ranging from 1 to 2-ft. Larger diameters are also available. The FP series antennas are configured as diamond shape for superior sidelobe performance, and meet ETSI class “TS5” specifications. These antennas are available in two configurations, 9” (18 dBi) & 19” (24 dBi).
